We have just a few choice plums left as well! Many of these are rare varieties from the Laxton Brothers in Bedford, while the staff at the 1894 Hamilton House in Buckingham have kindly donated scionwood from the huge ancient Purple Plum tree in their front garden.

Hamilton House Purple (from 1894 Hamilton House, Buckingham)
Blackbird (raised by Laxton Bros, Bedford, pre-1911)
Blue Tit (raised by Laxton Bros, Bedford in 1931, introduced 1938)
Laxton's Delight (raised by Laxton Bros, Bedford in 1913, introduced 1945)
Laxton's Gage (raised by Laxton Bros, Bedford in 1899, introduced 1922)
Utility (raised by Laxton Bros, Bedford in 1903, introduced 1910)
Jubilee (raised by Laxton Bros, Bedford in 1905, introduced 1936)
Prince of Wales (raised by Mr Chapman, nurseryman of Brentford, 1830)
